Spring has been here and we are living for it!

From the blooming flowers, to the sunny days (despite the crazy weather that keeps dumping rain on us some times), to enjoying walks outside etc.

I am so ready to put away my darker winter clothes and embrace a new fashion season!

This season I am embracing: Romantic Core aka, Romantic Aesthetic, aka Soft Core

This style has been around for a very long time actually – one only need to look at classic art, read poetry, watch BBC period dramas, and the inspiration to dress in this style – while carrying around a basket of flowers and reading under a tree in a flower field – will become the only way you want to dress.

Also – booktok anyone? Yeah, you know who you are. Imagine you are on your way to bump into a book BF at your favorite coffee shop or book aisle. See where I am going with this? 😉

Romantic is defined as: a person who thinks a lot about love and does and says things that show strong feelings of love for someone. Deliberately feminine, almost overly so, with lots of pinks, and pastel shades.

To me, the woman who styles herself romantically might also like:

Her peace, slow mornings, the arts, she thinks often of the future in ways one sees sunsets – with hope and deep calm – she enjoys reading romantic books, loves old movies, stops and smells flowers, buys herself flowers, travels, and perhaps wants to get away from the city.

Fun Fact about me and how I shop styles:

Below I have gathered my FAVORITE outfits in this style that is good quality and reasonably priced. I am ALWAYS looking for budget friendly options. Equally important to me is good quality, which will always win for best bang for your buck long term.

“So many worlds, so much to do, so little done, such things to be.”
― Alfred, Lord Tennyson

“In secret we met –
In silence I grieve,
That thy heart could forget,
Thy spirit deceive.
If I should meet thee
After long years,
How should I greet thee? –
With silence and tears”

― Lord Byron
